This is going to be SNL’s best season ever.
viksik (or whatever). McCain’s proposed town hall meetings were a campaign ploy that would have cost Obama a lot of campaigning time. How many times do they need to debate? There were already 3 scheduled. Any more is a waste of time. The town hall proposition was another not-so-clever tactic by the McCain camp to force Obama out of the huge arenas and into small venues in Texas filled with hard core conservatives. Sorry, but we are not that stupid to fall for such an obvious ploy.

Latino organizations in 25 U.S. cities are joining forces through a national technology-based campaign demanding that CNN drop Lou Dobbs from its program offerings.

Their leaders are citing Dobbs’ links to immigration hard-line groups such as the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which some consider an anti-immigrant organization, and his ongoing promotion of dangerous anti-Latino and anti-immigrant rhetoric.

“Enough is enough. CNN has allowed Dobbs to spout hate on its network for too long, and his alignment with a hate group like FAIR should be the last straw,” said Roberto Lovato of Presente.org, the national online group that is organizing the effort.
