My husband and I had our first child almost 5 months ago. We haven’t been out to eat together since. I went to lunch with our son, my mother and my brother once, and our son did great (given, the restaurant was a pizza joint and was deserted when we went to eat). I thought, this went great! My MIL insisted on going out to eat at Olive Garden for lunch one day. We picked a Wednesday, I think, at like 2 to avoid crowds. My son was ok until I had to change his diaper. I laid him on the changing table in the bathroom, with a blanket under him, and he screamed like he was put on a bed of nails. After that, he was miserable the whole time. We rushed through our meal, he cried so much, and one of us was constantly away from our table with him so he wouldn’t cry and disturb other guests. Luckily no one complained to us, because I would have just cried too. I tried so hard in the restaurant to keep things in control, but the experience made me feel so bad that I really don’t want to do it again.

People blog for many different reasons. Some blog just to get their point of view out there. Some people keep blogs going just to communicate with a select group of like minded people. Some people blog just because they like the sound of their fingers on the keyboard and have a lot to say.

Then there are people who blog solely to make money. There are many ways to make money with a blog. One of the easiest ways to make money online by keeping a blog is the Google Adsense program. Another way to earn is with affiliate programs.

Most people who visit the internet are people looking for valuable information that will insight them. Therefore, when posting articles it is very important to be understood by your readers. Think of it this way, you go for a business talk where the speaker does not have good command of the English language. One thing is for sure, you will be wondering what you are doing there and thus long for the talk to be over so that you leave.

I have many Iranian friends whom have a very solid & strong culture that goes back before the Jews,Christians and Muslims (over 5000 years of history).They are considered Persians (not to be confused with Arabs) and I have not met one that I’ve disliked, but they tell me:”Bad apples come within all nations and walks of life”,there is so much we can learn from these people and yet they have this Tyrant regime that suppresses them ,they even tell me that these people are not even Iranians running their country and that most took refuge to Iran when the Monarchy collapsed 30 years ago from various Arab neighbors or if they were born in Iran it’s small groups of sellouts whom for pocket profits they’ll snitch for the Islamic government,it sicken me & so sad for such polite & kind,so giving and bright people of that region not to be able to even visit their own homeland because of political views they may have ! I think as free Americans that take our freedom for granted and don’t have a clue what it feels like to be in their shoes we should get involved and help them by informing the world and other Americans that the people of Iran are held hostage against their own will and by sheer force of brutalities of Iran’s Gov. Just remember when the Palestinians and other Arabs in the region were dancing in the streets and were throwing parties on Sept. 11, 2001 for ill fated terrorist attack on American soil…The Iranian people held candlelight vigil that night in the central part of several cities in Iran despite the Islamic Republic’s threats for crackdowns,because US is Islamic Republic No.1 enemy. and that is the reason we can not have diplomatic relations with Iran, ….So don’t you think out of respect we owe it to them to support their freedom movement by joining Persian/Iranian blogs and twitter chats to say: “Hey we are with you all the way to the victory” and give them moral support so you’ll create real friends in the middle east .?? Or at the least have intelligent dialogue with the Media of all sort when asked, e.g : ((Should Ahmadinejad remain a president in Iran? cast your votes on CNN.COM)) and similar questions.

Hey fellow answerers! I am thinking about starting a “blog”. I have created my own website (www.gems-for-the-teacher.com) before and actually still use it, but am interested in an actual on-going blog.

People are always asking me how i make things, updates on classroom crafts, holidays, etc. ( I am a preschooler teacher) as well as for recipes I’ve made up, etc. and I think that a blog would be the best way to keep track of all of it!!

So now the question is…what is the best “blog” site out there? Have you/do you have your own blog? And WHY do you think this site is the best??

Blogging has become so popular recently that many people have been able to turn it into a full time job. Making money with blogging can be difficult and many people who try do not succeed in their initial attempts. This is not because it is a bad way to make extra money. People tend to fail to make money blogging because they do not approach it in the appropriate way. Blogging for money is a job.
