Do You Know What the Blog Is?
Net-based Income-generation
People who wish to set up an income generating site repeatedly ask whether one should opt for a conventional website or a blog setup. I strongly suggest that they should opt for a blog. There are several reasons for this suggestion, and the reason will become clear as you read this full write-up.
What Is a Traditional Website: A traditional website is made mostly of a scripting language known as HTML. For more details to go to www.building-blog-empire.com It might contain graphics, audio, video, flash and many other things. It is usually developed from scratch by a person with a good knowledge of coding.
Which blog management/CMS should I use?
I want to start a “news portal” web site; it would allow visitors to view categorized news items and click the headline to link to the full story from the original source. The portal would also allow registered visitors to comment on the items, to submit their own items (ticking a box to categorize each post,) to edit their own posts, and to rate items.
I want to develop an algorithm such that higher-rated items display higher on the page, but their priority would deteriorate over time, so that the older a post gets, the lower its priority on the web page.
What company is best for hosting and monitoring blogs built from scratch?
My company is building a blog from scatch (no templates) for several of our clients. Who would you recommend to host the blog and moniter the traffic? Google Analytics? Blog Harbor?
Please help ASAP.
Thanks.
